भारत सरकार GOVERNMENT OF INDIA रेल मंत्रालय MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS (रेलवे बोर्ड RAILWAY BOARD) Commercial Circular No. T9 of 2016 No. TC II/2910/2016/Discounted Fares — New Delhi, dated 98:12,2016 we The Chief Commercial Managers, Ail zonal Railways | . a Sub: 10% rebate in the basic fare on the vacant berths/seats after preparation of first chart REF: Commercial circular no. 68 of 2016 dated 08.12.2016 In continuation of para 1 of Commercial circular no. 68 of 2016 dated 08.12.2016 - regarding 10% rebate in the basic fare on the vacant berths/seats after preparation of first chart in Rajdhani/Duronto/Shatabdi trains, it has now been decided that 10% rebate shall also be applicable in the reserved class of all other trains w.e.f. 01.01.2017 on an experimental basis for six months 2, Other terms and condition of para 1 of Commercial circular no. 68 of 2016 shall remain same which are as under (i) 10% rebate shall-be applicable on the base fare of last ticket sold for a particular class and train Just before preparation of first chart (i) Reservation fee and superfast charge as applicable shall be levied in full & service tax etc. as applicable shall be levied. (iti) The last sold price of the ticket for the train should be printed on the reservation chart for the purpose of charging of difference of fare in the train or charging the passengers of the train without ticket etc (iv) 10% discount shall also be applicable for allotment of vacant berths (due to non-turned up passengers) in the train by TTEs 3. Zonal Railway may send a report on the working of this scheme to Board by 31.04.2017 to consider further extension of this scheme. 4, CRIS is requested to make necessary changes in the software for the implementation of the above . 2 + PCA AL-FP & MYS-SBC Shatabdi discounted fare -2- 5.
