SUB: Charging of fare against LWCBAC (AC Hot Buffet Car) LHB EOG coach.
REF: 1. Board’s Commercial Circular No. 08 of 2018 dated 05.02.2018.
2. SECR’s letter No. C/SECR/BSP/FTR/Policy/6178 dated 26.09.2018.

In supersession of para C(vii) of Board’s Commercial Circular No. 08 of 2018 dated
05.02.2018, Ministry of Railways desires that the charges for Generator Car/Pantry Car/Kitchen
Car/Dining Car shall be as under:- .

“Dining Car/Kitchen/Pantry Car/Generator Car shall be charged @ £130/- per car per’

kilometer uniformly for BG, MG and NG. In addition, Sleeper Class fare for non-AC and AC-3
tier fare for Air-conditioned and service charge of 30% for marked carrying capacity of the Car or
actual number of passengers travelling in the Car, whichever is higher, shall be collected”.

2. Other ancillary charges like detention charge, empty haulage charge, GST, etc, shall be levied
additionally as per existing Rule.

4. This issues with the concurrence of Finance Directorate of Ministry of Railways. _

3. Necessary instructions may be issued to all concerned immediately.

6. The receipt of this letter may be acknowledged. Also please check these instructions onthe

Indian Railways website - www.indianrailways.gov.in under the head commercial circulars.
