Sub: Indian Railways (Penalties for activities affecting cleanliness at railway premises)Rules, 2012- Gazette Notification No.GSR 54600) dt. 26.11.2012. | लि The ‘Indian Railways (Penalties for activities affecting cleanliness at railway ’ premises) Rules, 2012’ have been notified in the Extraordinary Gazette of India, Part वा, Section 3, Sub-Section (i) vide Gazette Notification No.GSR 84600) dt. 26.11.2012. A copy of the notification is enclosed. 2, In view of the provisions available in the above mentioned rules, the following action should be taken by the Zenal Railways: (i) Wide publicity showld be given to the rules through advertisements in various newspapers (including vernacular ones), pasting of posters at all railway stations, putting up of notices inside the coaches, announcement through public address system at stations, advertisement over Radio/TV etc. . (ii) Zonal Railways should frame the procedure for guiding the authorised officials keeping in view the local conditions and accordingly nominate officials for the purpose. 3 Realisation of fine amount would be chargeable to the Head Abstract Z-Sundry Other Earnings, Z-652- Other Sundry Receipts as per Board’s letter No. 2012/ACII/45/15 Dated 12.12.2012. 4. CCMs should indicate the amount of fine collected on this account in the MCDO to Railway Board. ' 5. . This issues with the concurrence of finance directorate of Ministry of Railways. 6.
