The scheme of VIKALP has reviewed keeping in view its utilisation and it has been decided that the scope of Alternate Train Accommodation Scheme (ATAS) known as VIKALP may be expanded and waitlist passengers who opt for this scheme may be shifted across all categories of trains without realisation of any difference of fare or grant of refund thereon. CRIS will make necessary modifications in the software accordingly and inform the date of effect to all Zonal Railways as well as this office which in no case will be later than 01.01.2017. . .
