TCI/2910/Duronto Train dated 14.09.2009 (Comml. Circular No. 46 of 2009) wherein it has been advised that there will be no “Tatkal” facility applicable in Duronto Trains for the time being. 2. On receipt of demands from various quarters on this aspect, the issue regarding introduction of Tatkal scheme in Duronto Express Trains has been examined and it has been decided that the existing Tatkal scheme may be introduced in Duronto Express Train also with the conditions that the extent of accommodation and the charges to be realized for Tatkal accommodation in different classes will be the same as applicable to the Mail/Express trains.
