Sub:- Banning of business of two firms i.e. (i)M/s Kumar Tours
& Travels and (ii) M/s Air Flight Ltd. Of Mumbai with
Ministry of Railways and its subordinate offices.

A case of fictitious booking of special trains by M/s Kumar Tours
& Travels, 51-A, JSS Road, Mumbai with the help of M/s Air Freight
Ltd., Naville House, Currimbhoy Road, Ballard Estate, Mumbai, a Rail
Tourist Agent of Western Railway was investigated by CBI, Jaipur and
both
the
parties
were
found
to
be
involved
in
malpractices/irregularities.
Ministry of Railway has decided to initiate banning proceedings
against these two above named firms with Ministry of Railways and its
subordinate offices on permanent basis. Draft statement of imputation
of misconduct against the firms alongwith RUD are enclosed.
Necessary action may be taken to issue show cause notice as well as
final orders to these firms under intimation to this office.
