Distribution of reservation quota in Yuva trains decided that the quota distribution between Yuva and general category in

(COMMERCIAL CIRCULAR NO. 66 OF 2011) Sub: Distribution of reservation quota in Yuva trains. Please refer to this office letter no. TC-II/2910/09/Yuva dated 22.12.2009 (Comml. Circular No. 70 of 2009) wherein it has been inter-alia advised that initially 60% of the total number of coaches (rounded off to next higher whole number in case of a fraction) may be earmarked for Yuva category and the remaining may be earmarked for general passengers (non- Yuva). It was also indicated that these arrangements will be reviewed after six months of introduction of trains 2. The distribution of reservation quota in Yuva trains has been accordingly examined keeping in view the utilization pattern and it has been decided that the quota distribution between Yuva and general category in Yuva trains should be revised to 20% of the total accommodation (rounded _ off to next higher whole number in case of fraction) for Yuva and remaining approximately 80% for General category 3. . Necessary action may kindly be taken by CCMs, Western, Northern and Eastern Railways to revise the quota distribution of Yuva trains at the earliest but not later than 26.12.2011 4.
