Sub: Carrying of proof of identity by defence personnel during journey by train.

Instances of misuse of military warrant have been brought to the notice of this
office where some civilians were found travelling on the authority of military warrant.
Accordingly the matter has been reviewed and it has been decided that passengers booked
on a military warrant should carry their original identity card issued by defence department
during the journey. The family members of the defence officials booked on warrant should
carry their medical card or family identity card or any other card issued by Ministry of
Defence through its Establishment failing which they will be considered as travelling
without ticket and charged accordingly. This provision will be implemented w.e.f.

01.01.2017 and a message will be printed on all the tickets booked on defence warrant that

such ticket is valid only with original defence identity card.

सिविलियन मिलिट्री वारंट के प्राधिकार पर यात्रा करते हुए पाए गए। तदनुसार इस मामले की समीक्षा की

मंत्रालय CART अपनी स्थापना के माध्यम से जारी किया गया हो, अपने पास रखना चाहिए। ऐसा न
करने पर उन्हें बिना टिकट यात्रा करता हुआ माना जाएगा और तदनसार उन पर प्रभार लगाया जाएगा।
