Sub:- Issue of reserved ticket for single child or group of children between the
age of 5 years and below 12 years with no berth option.
Ref:- Letter from CRIS no. 2018/CRIS/NDLS-HQ/PRS/RLY BOARD/189/PT-
XX1V/0264 dated 30.05.2018.
For tickets purchased through counter & e-tickets, Ministry of Railways has decided that
counter ticket/e-ticket with no seat/berth option (NOSB) may also be issued by linking it
with PNR of parent/guardians/attendants subject to the following terms & conditions:-
a. Child NOSB (no seat/berth option) e-ticket can be booked through link provided. in
“booked ticket history’ at parent PNR. कक : .
b. Child NOSB (no seat/berth option) PNR shall automatically be linked to parent
PNR when booked,
c. Only one NOSB (no seat/berth option) PNR shall be linked to parent PNR
Vikalp opted PNR shall not.be allowed for child NOSB (no seat/berth option)"
booking .
e. Child NOSB (no seat/berth option) PNR shall also not be allowed to opt for Vikalp.
f. Number of NOSB (no seat/berth option) berth shall be equal to or less than
number of adults in a single PNR ticket (of the parent)
g. Child NOSB (no seat/berth option) booking shall not be permitted in CC, EC, 2S
. EA classes
h | Child NOSB (no seat/berth option) PNR can be canceiled. independently and the
. refund rules for child NOSB (no seat/berth option) would apply.
i. Parent linked PNR, if cancelled, child NOSB (no seat/berth. option) PNR shall also
be cancelled.

j. if parent PNR is dropped, child PNR will automatically get cancelled along with parent

_k. Child NOSB (no seat/berth option) PNR is not valid for travel without Parents PNR. ,
3. These instruction shall come into force with immediate effect.
4. This issues with the concurrence of Finance directorate of Ministry of Railways. i
_ 5. Zonal railways shall ensure that wide publicity is given through the press, media and
also through notifications and announcements at stations a
