The issue regarding introduction of Tatkal scheme in passenger trains has been examined in Railway Board and it has been decided to introduce this scheme in passenger trains subject to following conditions:- (i) . Zonal Railways will identify the passenger trains and earmark Tatkal accommodation in that train/class in which average utilization during the previous financial year has been more than 60% (ii) The extent of accommodation to be earmarked will be the game as applicable in case of normal Tatkal scheme. (iii) The minimum Tatkal charges prescribed for different classes will be applicable as flat Tatkal charges (iv) All other conditions applicable to normal Tatkal scheme will be applicable in case of identified passenger trains. 2. Necessary instructions may be issued to all concerned and wide publicity may be given for information of general public. _ 3.- A quarterly review report should be submitted by the Zonal Railways to the Board. 4, This issues with the concurrence of Finance Directorate of Ministry of Railways. gn (Sanjay Manocha) Dy.
