Chief Commercial Managers, All Zonal Railways (COMMERCIAL CIRCULAR NO. 55-OF 2013) Sub: Review of Rail Tourist Agents Scheme At present, Rail Tourist Agents are appointed as per provisions of RTA Rules, 1980. These Rules were framed in 1980 and in the period of approximately 33 years the scenario of reservation has changed altogether and the scheme of Rail Tourist Agents has almost lost its relevance. This is evident from the fact that at present, only 12 RTAs are functioning on Indian Railways, out of which 10 are on Northern Railway and 2 are on South Western Railway 22. The issue regarding desirability of having Rail Tourist Agents was.examined in consultation with zonal railways and it has been decided to discontinue Rail Tourist Agents Scheme 3. It is, therefore, desired that no further action should be taken to appoint fresh _ Rail Tourist Agents. Moreover, the licenses of existing RTAs should not be renewed whenever they are due for renewal 4... Necessary instructions may be issued to all concerned. (2013 का वाणिज्यिक परिपत्र सं. 55) विषय - ta पर्यटक एजेंट योजना की समीक्षा! इस समय, रेल पर्यटक एजेंटों की नियुक्ति आरटीए नियम, 1980 के प्रावधानों के अनुसार की जाती है। ये नियम 1980 में बनाए गए थे और लगभग 33 वर्षों की अवधि में आरक्षण का परिद्दश्य पूरी तरह से बदल गया है और रेल पर्यटक एजेंटों की योजना की प्रासंगिकता लगभग समाप्त हो गई है। यह इस तथ्य से स्पष्ट है कि फिलहाल भारतीय रेलों पर केवल 12 आरटीए काम कर रहे हैं जिनमें से 10 उत्तर रेलवे और 2 दक्षिण पश्चिम रेलवे में हैं। 2. क्षेत्रीय tat के परामर्श से ta पर्यटक एंजेंटों को रखने की वांछनीयता से संबंधित इस मामले की जांच की गई और रेल पर्यटक एजेंट योजना को बन्द करने का निर्णय लिया गया है। 3. अतः, यह इच्छा व्यक्त की जाती है कि नए रेल पर्यटक एजेंटों को नियुक्त करने के लिए आगे कोई कार्रवाई न की जाए। इसके अलावा, मौजूदा आरटीए के लाइसेंस, जहां कहीं इनका नवीकरण किया जाना है, का नवीकरण न किया जाए। 4... सभी संबंधितों को आवश्यक अनुदेश जारी किए जाएं। (डॉ. एस, के, अहिरवार) निदेशक यातायात वाणिज्य (सा.) रेलवे बोर्ड प्रतिलिपि प्रेषित: 1) सीसीएम/पीएम तथा सीसीएम/पीएस सभी क्षेत्रीय रेलें। 2) एडीजी/पीआर, का नि सतर्कता(टी), का नि एफ (सी), निदेशक एफ (सी), वि. का. अधिकारी/टी सी, एफ(सी) तथा सतर्कता (एस एस) शाखाएं Yas ats न 2.1. a | pas एम डी/आई आर सी टी सी, बैं
