Sub: Selection of model stations for upgradation of Passenger Amenities

Please refer to Board's letters number 99/TGIVMO/PA/Model Stn and
200 /TGIV/TO/PAIMS/Pt A-F did 4.6.99, 5.11.98, 20.1.2000, 8.3.2000, 24.03.2000,
175.2000, 17.8.2000, 27.9.2000, 01.12.2000, 23.3.2001, 12.9.2001, 17.10.2004,
14.42.2001, 26.3.2002, 9.5.02, 30.12.2002, 28.01.2008, 13.02.2003, 10.09.2003,
14.70.2003, 17.10.2003, 14.11.2003, 03.12.2003, 05.12.2003 and 17.12.2003 on the
above subject indicating the names of 309 stations selected as model stations for
provision of upgraded passenger amenities.

Ministry of Railways has now decided that Sasaram Railway station may be
added to the existing list of 309 stations. Necessary action may please be taken for
provision of specified upgraded passenger amenities as per the category of this
Station, in addition to the stations on your railway selected earlier for the purpase, as
per Board’s letters number 99/TGIV/10/PA/Model Stn did 4.6.99 and 94/_MB/2/175
did 24.08.2003 (Annexture-E).

This issues with the concurrence of Finance Directorate of. Ministry of
Railways. .
