Chief Commercial Manager, _ Southern Railway, Chennai Sub: Discounted fare in Shatabdi train 12243/12244 from Salem to Coimbatore and 7 Coimbatore to Salem sections. Ref: SR’s letter no. C.625/PRS/12243-44 dated 16.08.2018. - Ministry of Railways have decided to give discounted fare with optional catering in AC Chair Car of Shatabdi train 12243/12244 over Salem-Coimbatore and Coimbatore-Salem sections - with effect from 10.10.2018 on an experimental basis for six months. The details of fare shall be as - under:- 1, 12243 Chennai Central-Coimbatore Shatabdi Express from Salem to Coimbatore:-. Fare Revised fare Base fare ' 260 40 2. 12244 Coimbatore- Chennai Central Shatabdi Express from Coimbatore to Salem:- Fare - Revised fare Base fare दि CCC“ थे Superfast charges ___* Total amount Note 1: GST shall be applicable separately on total fare. | Note 2: Catering shall be on optional basis. e Other charges like Mela surcharge etc., if applicable shall be levied separately. 2. Flexi fare system shall not be applicable for the above. 10% discount at the time of current booking shall not be permissible on the above section for which fare has been revised. 3, No concession/discount/rebate shall be admissible on the above revised fare. Since in chair car of Shatabdi trains seat option is must for child of age 5 years and above and of below 12 years and full fare ticket is issued, therefore child fare shall be issued on the adult fare as per above revised fare table. os व 4. Concessional tickets as per tule shall be issued on the existing fare as above not on the revised fare. Tickets on pass shall be issued as per rule. Tickets on PTOs shall be issued as per rule based on "the existing fare as above not on the revised fare.
