Sub: Basic Fare structure for AC and Mixed AC Duronto Trains.
Reference Board's letters of even number dated 14.9.09 (Commercial Circular No.
46 of 2009), 25.9.09 (Commercial Circular No. 52 of 2009) and dated 30.9.2009
(Commercial Circular No.53 of 2009) whereby fares of some Duronto trains were notified.
2.
The Basic Fare structures for AC Duronto Trains and Mixed AC Duronto Trains are
enclosed as Annexure-A & Annexure-B respectively.
Railways to work out the chargeable
fares of these services based on the composition of the trains.
3.
In the case of AC Duronto services Development charges and catering charges as per
services rendered in up and down directions separately will be additional.
4.
In the case of mixed AC Duronto trains other charges like reservation fee,
supplementary charges for superfast trains, development charges and catering charges as per
services rendered in up and down directions separately are to be added to arrive at the total
chargeable fares.
5.
In case of bed roll supplied to Sleeper class passengers, Rs 25/- is to be realized in
addition.
6.
Other terms and conditions will be same as advised through Board's letters as
mentionedin para-1 above.
7.
This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Directorate of the Ministry of
Railways.
