Pléase refer to Board’s letter No. 98/TG-I/20/P. dated 15.7.1998 and
15.9.1998 on the above noted subject enclosing therewith a copy of the a list of the
members of Press Council of India with instructions that negessary. assistance may be
reservation till. Marsh , 2001
The, Press Coundil of India has tiow advised ‘that the new’members of the Council have
been. notified for the. next 3 years: i.e. upto 21.5.2004; hence thé facility may be
extended to the new members. A list: indicating the nantes of the new members &
officials of Press Council of India:is.enclosed for information As

: Ministry of Railways desire that whenever members & officials of the Press
Council of India, mentioned in the enclosed list, travel by rail to perform their statutory
and judicial duties, nevessary assistance may be extended to them in the matter of grant
of priority.in rail reservation: .Necessaty instructions may be issued to all concerned
