Reference Ministry of Railways’ letter of even number dated 23.3.07 (Commercial circular No. 31 of 2007) regarding revision of Passenger Fares – Railway Budget 2007-08 (.) It is clarified that passengers originating from suburban stations and terminating at non-suburban stations and vice-versa, will be treated as non-suburban passengers and charged accordingly (.) The passengers originating & terminating in the suburban section shall be treated as suburban passengers and the passengers originating & terminating in non-suburban section shall be treated as non- suburban passengers (.)
