Sub: Scheme for upgradation of full fare paying Passengers at 
intermediate chart preparing stations.

The scheme for upgradation of full fare paying passengers has 
been extended to all Mail/Express trains having sleeping accommodation 
w.e.f.24/02/2006.  This scheme has been extended at source locations i.e. 
originating points only.   
 
The matter has been reviewed in this office and it has been decided 
that upgradation scheme may also be implemented at all intermediate chart 
preparing points against the remote location quota berths remaining 
vacant, after preparation of remote location charts in addition to that being 
done at originating point.  CRIS may take immediate action for making 
necessary modifications, if any, in the software under intimation to zonal 
railways and this office.
