Please refer to the Commercial Circulars No. 8, 11, 14 & 15 of
2006 regarding introduction and extension of upgradation scheme.
Upgradation for full fare paying passengers may be a pleasant surprise.
Since it is a new scheme, it is desired that frequent and regular
announcements through Public Address System should be made at stations
platforms for information of general public that before boarding the
respective coach indicated on their ticket, they should consult the
reservation charts pasted on the coach to see if they are lucky to have been
upgraded to higher class. In such a situation they should go to the coach
in which they have been upgraded.
