(Commercial Circular No.29) Circular No.29

In continuation to Commercial Circular No.31 dated 20.9.99
directing the Railways to replace waiting room and retiring room
furniture on age-cum-condition basis. Board desire that in order to
bring about visible improvement in passenger amenities, expeditious
action may be taken in accordance with the said Circular. Replacement
of furniture for retiring and waiting rooms may be arranged wherever
necessary by making funds available through Revenue, and utilising the
mechanism of duly constituted Spot Purchase Committees under the
sanction of competent authority,

This issues with concurrence of the Finance Directorate of this
Minisiry. .
