The General Managers (Comml.), All Zonal Railways. Sub: Modification in implementation of revision of Passenger Fares w.e.f. 25.06.2014 Ref: 1. Commercial Circular no. 19 of 2014 dated 16.05.2014. 2. Commercial Circular no. 20 of 2014 dated 16.05.2014. 3. Commercial Circular no. 26 of 2014 dated 20.06.2014. Please refer to instructions issued for implementation of revision of passenger fares w.e.f 25.06.2014. In partial modification to para (3) under the head “Season Ticket Fare” of the commercial Circular No. 19 of 2014 dated 16.05.2014 vide reference 1 above, Ministry of Railways have decided that second class monthly season tickets for both Suburban & Non- Suburban shall now be charged at 14.2% over the existing rates rounded off as per extant instructions. 2. Further, there shall be no increase in second class suburban ordinary fare upto 80 Kms. 3. In view of the above modifications, the revised fares in the unteserved segment shall come into force from 28.06.2014. However, for reserved segment, the revised fares shall come into effect from 25.06.2014 as notified earlier. , 4, Other terms and conditions shall remain same. 5. The modified Season Ticket Fare tables/second class suburban ordinary fare tables will be uploaded by Rates Directorate of Railway Board on Indian Railways web site. 6.
