Government of India (Bharat Sarkar) Ministry of Railways (Rail Mantralaya) ne (Railway Board) ea af Commercial Circular No. 2.7 of 2016 No. TCU/2003/2015/Comp Project New Delhi, dated’ 33 .05.2016 The General Managers | ः i All zonal Railways ~ - Sub: Cancellation of PRS counter tickets through IRCTC website and through 139 and collection of refundable amount across the PRS counter within the prescribed time limit — Reference Board’s Commercial Circular No. 20 & 20A of 2016 on the above subject, it has now been decided to allow cancellation of PRS counter tickets through IRCTC website or through 139 and collection of refundable amount across the PRS counter within the prescribed time limit for RAC and i waitlisted tickets also on the following terms and conditions:- (i) Online cancellation or cancellation through 139 of RAC/Wait Listed PRS counter tickets shall be permitted only up to 30 minutes before the scheduled departure of the train. Refund of fare across the PRS counter within the prescribed time limit shall be permissible only on -. Surrendering of original PRS counter tickets. (ii) .. Now confirmed /RAC/Wait Listed PRS counter tickets shall be cancelled through IRCTC _. website or through 139 within the prescribed time limit mentioned in the Refund Rule,2015, (iii) Other terms and conditions will remain same as mentioned in commercial circular Nos, 20 & 20A of 2016, 2, _ This scheme shall be implemented with effect from 24.05.2016+ 3.
