As
announced by Hon'ble
MR on 3.7.2009 in the Budget Speech for 2009-10, vide
Commercial Circular No. 24 of 2009 dated 16.07.2009, a new scheme of uniformly priced Monthly
Season Tickets (MSTs) called IZZAT has been introduced at Rs. 25/- inclusive ofallsurchar.8e$
issued
upto
distance of 100 Kms to persons working in unorganised sector with monthly income not
exceeding Rs. 1500/-. This Izzat scheme has been introduced with effect from 1.8.2009.

As announced bv Bon'ble MR in Bude:etSpeech for 2012-13.it has beeodecided to exteJld
the trav~ldistanc_efrom.l00kln to 158lans under_IZZATscheme.

There wiJlbe no change in other terms and conditions.

This extension of travel distance from 100 km to 158 km will be admissible on IZZAT
MST Durchued
on and after 01.06.2012.
In case of MSTs already issued before 01.06.2012, this
extension of travel distance will not be admissible..
5.
This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways.
6.
Wide publicity through various media may be given.
7.
Necessary instructions may be issued to all concerned immediately and implementation
ensured.
