Circular No. 19 of 2003) BK के के के के As a consequence of Hon’ble MR’s Budget announcement catering services have been made optional in the Jan Shatabdi trains. It has been decided that licence fee shall be 12 % of total Sales Turnover including sales - through Rail Mart charged uniformly as Licence fee for all Jan Shatabdi trains as in the case of pantry car services (other than Rajdhani/Shatabdi Express trains) where meals services are also - optional. The sales turnover of Jan Shatabdi trains may be assessed as per the extant policies and guidelines.
