Since bed roll) ; charges are Included in.the fare of IAC, LAC and IAC classes of all trains, LOU% .. ie supply of bed rolls to all passengers travelling in these classes be ensured. .A uniform oye: policy.is to be followed by alt.Zonal Raltways and.there-should be no hitch fh regard td - supply of adequate quantity of bed rolls as well: as maintenance. of SMper standard of cleanliness .. Financial Commissioner Railways Copy to: EDRS(G) amd EDFC, Railway Board _— _ POD. न 2. - Broad strategy for supply of good quality linen’ should be:- POLICY FOR SUPPLY OF LINEN.IN AC COACHES OBJECTIVES: | Oe fae v1 Indian Railways should provide clean, hygienic, well ironed and good quality linen to all passengers travelling in AC classes by using. latest state- of-the-art technology so as to enhance customer satisfaction STRATEGY FORSUPPLY OF LINEN; at (i) Procurement of good quality linen we (ii) Modern and exclusive mechanised washing facility by involving » Yt expertise from private sector (iii) Eco-friendly packaging of sets of bed rolls for-passengers (iv) Development of proper storage facility at stations and on trains; : 32% Toa and | (v) Improved logistics for storing, transportation and foading and दि unloading, etc. , | ACTION PLAN: In order to implement. the above strategy and achieve the objectives, “s ं details regarding the following are laid down:- हक लो ह é ; : | ay Norms and specifications (ii) , ‘Storage जि .
