Sub: New plastic Identity Cards issued to Members of Parliament,
Rajya Sabha and their spouses.
Please find enclosed a copy of Rajya Sabha Secretariat’s Office
Memorandum No. RS.11/2012/MS&A dated 25.02.2012 on the subject quoted
above along with photocopy of sample new plastic laminated Identity Cards
being issued to the Member of Rajya Sabha and their spouses.
2. It is requested that suitable instructions may be issued to all concerned
to avoid any inconvenience to Hon’*ble Members of Parliament.

OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Subject:New plastic Identity Cards issued to Members of Parliament, Rajya
Sabha and their spouses.
The undersigned is directed to state that it has been decided to issue new plastic
laminated Identity Cards in lieu of Identity Cards issued earlier to Members of Rajya
Sabha and their spouses. The new Identity Cards have been prepared and are being
issued to the Members and their Spouses to travel in First Class air-conditioned or
Executive Class of {Indian Railways. One sample card is enclosed for reference.
2. The Ministry of Railways (Railway Board) is requested to inform all the
concerned authorities in this regard,
3. The receipt of this Office Memorandum may kindly be acknowledged,
