COMMERCIAL CIRCULAR LETTER NO. 156 of 2021 DRAFT NOTIFICATION FOR TRC NO. 05 of 2021 (७0005) Sub : Guidelines regarding Premium Indent Scheme- Rate of Premium Charge. Ref :(i) Rates CircularNo.32 of 2020 and its Corrigenda (ii) Board's letters No.TC-1/2020/101/efile/1(3323942) dt 08 01.2021, dt 12.01.2021, dt 01.02.2021 and dt. 11.02.2021 Authority: Railway Board's letter No.TC-I /2020/101/efile/| 93323942) Corrigendum No.3 to Rates Circular No.32 dated 25.05.2021. Please refer to Board's Circulars/Letters regarding Premium Indent Scheme. In terms of extant guidelines, the rate of Premium Charges is 15% on normal freight which is valid till 30.06.2021. The matter has been reviewed and it has been decided to extend the present rate of Premium Charge i.e.15% on normal freight beyond 30.06.2021 till further advice. All other features of Premium Indent Scheme holds good. Divisions are requested to widely publicise the scheme so as to popularize it and attract time sensitive cargoes such as export. This issues in consultation with Traffic Transportation Directorate and with Concurrence of Finance Directorate of Ministry of Railways. Staff in the field units should read the above instructions carefully and understand the same , thoroughly. Thereafter, the instructions should be implemented. In case of any doubts, letters may be addressed to the respective Sr. DCMs with copy to PCCM's office. All staff to please note and act accordingly.
