Sub: Unreserved Ticketing System(UTS) for declared suburban section. ( commercial Circular No 15 of 2004) In continuation of this office letter of. even number dated 7,10.2003 (Commercial Circular No.42. of 2003) on the subject the matter has been reviewed in this office for axpansion of UTS on Suburban Section also, and it has been decided that for declared suburban sections of IR viz. Mumbai, Howrah & Chennal, the following instructions will be applicable: - 1, The present parameters and practices being followed by the respective zonal railways for issue of suburban tickets will continue irrespective of the system of issue whether through SPTMs or UTS etc. There will be no issue of advance ticket of the Suburban System. . ं 2, However, in case of return journey ticket on suburban Section the date & time of commencement of return journey will be — mentioned by the passenger on the return. ticket. In case this is not done, the passenger will be treated without ticket.
