Copy to - | Chief Commercial Managers, ~ Chief Commercial Managers (PM), ( Commercial Circular No.15 of 2002) Sub: Frauds in SPTM generated tickets ( Corrigendum to Commercial Circular No.7 of 2002) Please refer to Commercial ‘Circular No.7 issued vide Board’s letter of even number dated 21.1.2002 on the subject quoted above The matter has been further reviewed and it has _ been decided that 1. GSMs of the tickets should be increased from 115 to 130. The decision regarding ‘A’ grade paper mill from where the paper for SPTMs is to be purchased will be taken by Stores Directorate of Board कि 2. The ticket top band should be printed in full solid of 8 mm copper brown colour printed. 3. The ticket should be hatched with Indian Railway logo of 8-mm diameter. The hatching should be printed in 10% density (screen) in such a way that the dot matrix printing on it should have a contrast Cont... = 4. The inner diameter of the core should be between 2 cms to 3 cms::(Specifications of .-SPTM ticket are enclosed) . The ticket serial number of SPTMs tickets should be printed by fool proof system machine numbering (printing press]. In no case the ticket serial number will be printed on Dot Matrix/Inkjet or laser printer. . In view of the frauds in SPTMs tickets, in addition to railway presses, printing work should be given only to 1509002 printing press approved by RBI as security printers for security document i.e Drafts, Cheques etc. - so that proper stocking accountal and records of printing are maintained. _ A report on action taken in this regard may be sent to Board by 15.4.2002.
