(COMMERCIAL CIRCULAR NO. 14 OF 2014) Sub: Holding of ZRUCC/DRUCC meetings during the period when model code of conduct is in force. कं भर भी कर General elections to Lok Sabha and by-election to certain State Assemblies have been announced recently resulting in enforcement of model code of conduct. Prior to announcement of these elections, some Zonal Railways had fixed meetings of ZRUCCs & DRUCCs. References were being received from Zonal Railways seeking clarification regarding holding of meetings after announcement of schedule of the elections. Accordingly, a reference was made to Election Commission of India. 2. Election Commission of India has advised that the meetings of ZRUCCs/DRUCCs may be deferred till the completion of election. 3.
