Sub: Reconstitution of Divisional Railways Users’ Consultative Committees
(DRUCCs) and Zonal Railway Users’ Consultative Committees
(ZRUCCs).

Please refer to this office letter No.2008/TG-I/24/P dated 25.09.2008 on the
subject quoted above wherein the procedure regarding nomination of representative of
Members of Parliament/Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha and Union Ministers belonging to
Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha on Users’ Consultative Committee has been specified.
Clarification has been sought by certain Zonal Railways regarding nomination of
representatives of nominated Members of Parliament who do not have any constituency
or specified state for getting elected.

2. The matter has been examined and it has been decided with the approval of
competent authority that nominated Members of Parliament of Lok Sabha and Rajya
Sabha can nominate one representative on any one DRUCC on any one Zonal Railway.

3. Necessary instructions may please be issued to all concerned and receipt of this
letter acknowledged,
