Piease refer to Board’s instructions of even number dated 17.02.2010 (Commercial Circular No. 10 of 2010 regarding earmarking of two berths in 2 AC compartment for Doctors and their staff in Duronto Express Trains In this connection CRIS has advised that the nominated berths may be defined as “DOC” in the PRS Train Profile. This would work on similar pattern as other Railway Employee Quotas like TTE Quota and booking of these berths would not be allowed from PRS system and these berths would not be released at the time of charting. In case, no Doctor and staff are physically travelling in the train, the berths would be released by the on-board Ticket Checking Staff to RAC/Wait list passengers.
