It was communicated vide Commercial Circular No.96 dated 24th October, 2002 that all facilities which are permitted to normal PRS issued tickets should be permitted on tickets issued through Internet as per extant rules like change of name, change of boarding point, extension of journey, onward reservation after break journey at intermediate stations etc. The intention of this Circular was to bring the Internet issued tickets on par with the PRS issued tickets. The difference between the two tickets is only in the mode of issue and no other difference will exist for the customer in provision. of facilities.
