Instructions were issued vide Board's letter no. 97ITG
.1I35/Policy dated
2.12.1997, 6.3.1998
and 23.3.2001
regarding
revision of Retiring Room charges at various stations.
Suggestions
have been received from .North Western Railway for liberalizing
certain provisions ofthe above mentioned policy guidelines.
The matter has been examined and followingdecisions have
been taken:-
i)In a
double-bedded
retiring room,
if the
number
of
passengers
accommodated
are
more than
2 passengers,
the
additional number of passengers
should be charged
the rental
proportionate to the tariff.
ii)In case of children below 12 years of age, no extra charges
should be realized.
This disposes
of North Western
Railway's
letter no.
C.4/Retiring Room/O2dated 21.10.04.
