We are pleased to extend an invitation to all Zonal Railways/PUs/PSUs’ officials for an upcoming webinar on " Digitization of Ticket Checking in Indian Railways,“ hosted by the National Academy of Indian Railways (NAIR), Vadodara. The shift to Digital Ticket checking is envisioned to bring transformative benefits not only in terms of operational ease for the personnel engaged in Ticket checking activities but also in elevating the travel experience for our passengers. The goal of digitalization of ticket checking is to create a scalable and efficient approach in order to eliminate the need for carrying a ticket, which reduces the usage of paper as well as to improve the convenience of passengers. This digitization also provides a clean and organized system throughout the ticket verification life-cycle. The primary objective of this webinar is raising awareness and helping the Ticket checking staff in the field to handle the ticket checking activities of sensitive nature in a very efficient manner and also understand as to how the process of digitalization of ticket checking activities over Indian railway has evolved and what are the challenges ahead.
