PREFACE 
 
It is a matter of great pleasure to present the User Manual. This document is meant for the 
guidance of all ICMS users. It incorporates all aspects of the various modules of ICMS 
application. The basic objective of this document is to provide complete information on all the 
features and functionalities of the application. 
This document is in five parts namely PAM, COIS, DATA, REPORTS and UTILITY. Efforts 
have been made to demonstrate the features of ICMS application using screen shots wherever 
applicable, to make it more users friendly. The following documentation conventions have 
been used in this manual:- 
 
Some screen captures have been cropped and/or edited to give emphasis or for 
descriptive purposes. 
 
Menus, options, icons, fields, and text boxes on the screen have been highlighted. 
 
Genuine efforts have been made to ensure that this document is an accurate representation of 
various features of the ICMS. However, users are requested to indicate errors and send 
suggestions, if any, to CRIS on mail id [email removed] for necessary corrective action. 
Amendments to this document due to any enhancement in the application or on account of 
addition of new features as per Railways‟ requirements will be updated from time to time and 
made available to the users. 
 
I hope this document prepared by the ICMS team of CRIS with lot of efforts, dedication and 
sincerity to provide the best guidance to ICMS users will be quite helpful and informative to 
all the officers and staff as users of ICMS.
