The request of IRCTC regardiue direct transfbr of catering charges of pre-paid trails like
Ra.idhani/Shatabdi/Duronto/Tejas/Gatiman/Vande Bharat, etc., has been examined in Board,s
oftlce The Competent Ar-rthority have decided that the following procedure and schedule
shall be adopted by Zonal Railways and IRCTC for payment of cateiing bills to IRCTC and
revenue share to Zonal Railways by IRCTC :_
1' Provisional payrnent of caterir.rs bills to IRCTC to the extent of 15% of the catering
charges collected at the titne ot:pleparation of second chart (including both e-tickets as
well as tickets issr-red throush PRS ) sha1l be released. This r.lill b. privisional payment
based on electlonic bills ,sellerated br CRIS and ibrri'arclecl to Commercial batering
Deptt' of the Railways with a cop\.to Associate Finance of the ZonalRailways. It shall be
done on dail1,,basis.
2' For paytlient of remaining catering bills to IRCTC, the final catering bills along with the
copies of occupancy certificate issued by Train Superintendent shall be submitted by
l*9]|,]:.the respective Zonal Railway on I0'h of every month (for billing period of 1(l
to iU"'/j I " ol the previous rrronth).
3' The provisional and trnal bills shall continue to be lbrwarded to Accounts by Catering
Deptt. as at present.
4' Zonal Railway shall release the payment of the final bills by 25tl' of the same month after
due verification and adjr'rstment of the 75% plovisional payment made for the concerned
billing period through electronic bills.
5' Zonal Railways shall also adjust all outstanding amounts including those on account of
railways' revenue share w'ith IRCTC on qrurl.rly basis frorn the final catering bills
submitted by IRCTC.
6. At the end of every quarter, concerned GGM/IRCTC, ccM (ps & carering) and
FA/Traffic will have co-ordination meeting to review the outstanding issues, if any.
7. CRIS shall develop the software as
