Sub: Supply of handioom polyester cotton uniform cloth.

in terms of instructions contained in Board's letter of even no. df.

27.12.05 on the subject of issue of uniform and other accessories to Gangmen(Trackmen), Keymen, Mates and Patroimen,handioom polyester cotton variety has been specified keeping in mind the extreme weather conditions in summer under which they work. -

2. On receipt of references from number of Railways regarding problems faced by them in procurement of the specified variety of the cloth on regular basis from M/s ACASH, the matter has been considered by Board and it has been decided that the Railways may be permitted to buy cloth of the specification of mill-rmade variety till such time M/s ACASH is able to develop and supply cloth on regular basis. It may, however, be noted that since this is an interim arrangement, the instructions contained in:

_ Board’s letter of even no. dt. 27.12.05 may continue to be followed as and when M/s ACASH are in a position to supply the cloth. oe

3. This issues with the concurrence of Finance Directorate of the

Ministry of Railways. .
