Sub: Supply of cloth and payment of stitching charges .
to Public Image Categories
Instructions prescribing length of cloth 10 be supplied to the Public Image Categories were issued vide Board’s letter of even No. dt. 21.3.02. The length of cloth for overcoat has been indicated therein as 1.850 meters for normal size and 2.20 meters for special size.
2 Arising out of demand from Zonal Railways and the Federations that length of cloth of 2.20 meters being provided for overcoat is quite inadequate and that the length of cloth should be
2.50 meters, the case has been examined by Board and it has been decided that length of cloth for Overcoat may be Supplied to the eligible Public Image Category employess as under:-
Overcoat 1.850 meters oe 2.50 meters normal size Special size
3. Other terms and conditions for Supply of cloth and payment of stitching charges will remain the same as indicated in the Dress Regulations, 2004. i
4. This issues with the concurrence, of Finance Directorate of — the Ministry of Railways.
