Ref: Railway Board's letter No, PC-VIV2019/RSRP/S (RBENo, 155/2022) date 17.11.2022. Vide Board's lter under reference, pay structure of 50% post in cetain Group C ‘cadre has been upgraded from level? to level8 Various representations have been received ftom Vigilance units across various Zonal Railways highlighting difficulties in atacting suitable applicants forthe post of ‘Vigilance Inspectors. Since most posts in the Vigilance Organisation are at Level-7, ligible and experienced officials curelly serving in Level-8 postions (comprising 50% ofthe feeder cadre) were unable to apply. ‘To address this issue, the Railway Bord (with the concurrence of Member Finance and approval of CRB & CEO) has permite the operation of Level-8 posts in place of the sanctioned Level-7 posts in Vigilance, on a co-erminus basis, This shall be achieved by transfering selected officials slong with their Level-8 posts from the respective Zonal Railways/Production units, witha corresponding transfer of Level? posts back tothe concemed Railways ensuring 009 net financial impact All Zonal Railwaysother units should also exercise the sme procedure to facilitate the posting of experienced officals in their Vigilance Departments, del (Ashole Kumar Yad} Director ViglancetR&SC) allway Board Copy to: SDEMSICVOs ‘All Zonal Railways, Production Units, CORE, RDSO
