~ GOVERNMENT OF INDIA (BHARAT SARKAR) MENISTRY OF RAILWAYS (RAIL MANTRALAYA) (RAILWAY BOARD) RBE No. 123 No. F(E)F/2009/AL-28/42 New Delhi, Dated: 19.08.2010 The General Managers, All Indian Railways etc. (As per Standard Mailing List) Sub: Revised admissibility to travel by taxi/ reimbursement of taxi hire charges for using one’s own car for local official journeys at or near headquarters. 7 In terms of Para 4 of Board's letter No. F(E)I/98/AL-28/S dated 12.3.1999 Railway employees drawing pay of Rs. 3200 and above in the 4h CPC scales of pay were entitled to perform official journeys by taxi locally within the city/urban agglomeration/contiguous locality in which the headquarters of the Railway servants are situated. In the wake of Government's decision to implement 6™ CPC Pay Bands/Grade Pay, in partial modification of para 4 of the letter dt. 12.3.1999, it has been decided by the Ministry of Railways that the Railway servants in Grade Pay Rs. 4600/- (PB-2) and above and are drawing pay Rs. 18,050/- in the pay band (excluding Grade Pay) will be entitled to travel by taxi/ claim reimbursement of taxi hire charges for using one’s own car for the purpose of undertaking local journeys mentioned in the said letter dated 12.3.1999. 2. WH(S)1/2009/euet-28/42 नई दिल्ली, दिनांक: 19.08.2010 महाप्रबंधक, सभी भारतीय रेलें आदि । (मानक डाक सूची के अनुसार) विषय: मुख्यालयों में अथवा मुख्यालयों के समीप स्थानीय सरकारी यात्राओं के लिए टैक्सी द्वारा यात्रा करने/अपनी स्वयं की कार का उपयोग करने के लिए टैक्सी के किरायों के प्रभारों की प्रतिपूर्ति करने के लिए संशोधित स्वीकार्यता | बोर्ड के 12.03.1999 के पत्र सं. एफ(ई)1/98/एएल-28/9 के पैरा 4 के अनुसार चौथे केंद्रीय वेतन आयोग के वेतनमानों में 3200/-रुपए अथवा इससे अधिक वेतन पाने वाले रेलवे कर्मचारी नगर/शहरी क्षेत्रों/समीपवर्ती इलाकों, जहाँ रेलवे कर्मचारी का मुख्यालय स्थित है, के भीतर स्थानीय रूप से टैक्सी द्वारा सरकारी यात्राएं करने के पात्र थे । छठे केंद्रीय वेतन आयोग के पे बैंडों/ग्रेड पे के कार्यान्वयन के सरकारी निर्णय के परिणामस्वरूप दिनांक 12.3.1999 के पत्र के पैरा 4 में आंशिक आशोधन करते हुए, रेल मंत्रालय द्वारा यह विनिश्चय किया गया है कि ग्रेड पे 4600/- equ (पीबी-2) और इससे अधिक के प्रेड पे में और पे बैंड में 18050/- रुपए (ग्रेड पे को sean वाले रेलवे सेवक दिनांक 12.3.1999 के उक्त पत्र में उल्लिखित स्थानीय यात्राएं करने के प्रयोजन हेतु टैक्सी द्वारा यात्रा करने/अपनी स्वयं की कार का इस्तेमाल करने के लिए टैक्सी के किराया प्रभारों की प्रतिपूर्ति का दावा करने के पात्र होंगे | 2. ये आदेश इस पत्र के जारी होने की तारीख से प्रभावी होंगे । Ach. कृपया पावती दें । sora (सोनाली चतुर्वेदी) उप निदेशक, वित्त (स्थापना) रेलवे बोर्ड
