GOVERNMENT OF INDIA (BHARAT SARKAR) MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS (RAIL MANTRALAYA) (RAILWAY BOARD) No. E(G) 2019 RN 2-2 New Delhi, dated 31. 12. 2019 The General Manager/Director General All Indian Railways/Production Units/RDSO-Lucknow (As per Standard mailing list) Permission to retain Railway accommodation at the place of previous posting Sub: by Railway officers/staff posted to freight intensive Railways. The issue of retention of Railway accommodation by officers/staff posted to freight intensive Railways like SER, SECR, ECoR etc. has been considered by Railway Board. 2. In exercise of the powers vested with the full Board to make reasonable relaxations in public interest for a class/group of employees in all or any of the provisions regarding house allotment / retention, full Board has decided that for officers of SAG and above posted to South East Central Railway headquarter, quarter retention at the previous place of posting shall be allowed to motivate competent officers to opt for posting at Bilaspur. This facility of retention at the previous place of posting will be for a period of about three years , to begin with. 3; This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways. 4.
