Subject: Reduction in the amount of NDA in 7 CPC as compared to 6 th CPC after implementation of the recommendations of 7” CPC- reg.

Attention is invited to Board's letier No. E(P&A)I-2017/HW-] dated 08.03.2018, whereby

revised rates of Night Duty Allowance post Implementation of 7 CPC recommendation were conveyed to the Railways. Thereafler, references have been received in Board’s office seeking clarification on the above subject matter,

The matter has been examined in consultation with Dept. of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance, and Deptt, of Expenditure have advised to follow the procedure recommended by the 7 CPC in respect of Night Duty Allowance, which was already conveyed to the Railways vide Board’s letter of even number dated 08.03.2018(RBE No. उत्तर हा],
