.G.5.R. - In exercise ef the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the . Constitution, the President hereby makes the following rules further to amend thé Railway Servants (Discipline and Appeal) Rujes, 1968, namelyi-

1, (1) These rules may be called the Railway Servants (Discipline and Appéal)

2. In the Railway Servants (Discipline and Appeal} Rules, 2968, in rule 9, in sub-rule

(13), In cause (b}, for Note 2, the folowing shail be substituted, namely :- “Note 2: {i) Nomination of. an assisting railway servant or ar official of a.

Coe recignised Railway Trade Union, who is a full time unlon worker, shall be made, within twenty days from the date of appointment of the Inqulring authority. . ः '

(i) The nomination shall not be accepted if the person assisting: has three pending disciplinary cases an hand in which he has to assist:

Provided that an official of & recognised Railway Trade: Li nion” may assist in more than three pending disciplinary cases.” =
