/ R.B.E.No. <63 /2008 GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS (RAILWAY BOARD) The General Managers (Commercial & Personnel), All Indian Railways Director General/RDSO Including new Zones Production Units/ Sub: Travel entitlements for serving and retired GMs & Officers of equivalent rank in I-AC/Executive Class.

Instructions have been issued vide Board's letter of even number dated 05-09-07 modifying the rail travel facilities for travel on Rajdhani & Shatabdi Express trains and other Mail/Express trains on Privilege and Post Retirement Complimentary Passes in respect of serving and retired General Managers, Additional Members, DG/RHS and DG/RPF of the grade of Rs. 24050/- and above.

In this connection, it has been brought to the notice of Board that some of the designations of the officers who are working in the scale of Rs. 24050-26000/- have been left out of these instructions. The matter has been considered by the Board and decided that the travel entitlement as contained in Board's letter dated 05-09-2007 shall be applicable to all Officers of equivalent rank in the scale of Rs. 24050-26000 irrespective of their designation on Indian Railways.
