***** Attention is invited to this Ministry's letter of even number dated 4.4.2007 (RBE No.53/2007) on the above subject.

Pursuant to a demand raised by the staff side, Ministry of Railways (Railway Board), have reconsidered the matter and have decided to allow additional (second) chance for passing aptitude test to compassionate ground appointees for post of Assistant Station Master and Assistant Loco Pilot, after a gap of three months instead of the present POliCY or SIX "lvIILi I::>, ill <;;A'::"::'~~;C;-;::: :::::::, based on merits of each case.
