Subject : Reckoning of Additional allowance for the purpose of computation of retirement benefits — clarification thereof.

One of the Zonal Railways have sought clarification regarding reckoning of additional allowance granted to Loco Pilot (Mail), Loco Pilot (Passenger) and Mail Guard for the purpose of computations cf their retirement benefits.

2. The matter has been examined in detail by the Board and it is advised that the Additional Allowance granted to Loco Pilot (Mail), Loco Pilot (Passenger) and Mail Guard vide this Ministry's letter No.PC-\//2008//RSRP/1 dated 11.9.2008 is not to be taken into account for the purpose of computation of their retirement benefits.

3. Please acknowledge receipt.

4. This disposes of South Eastern Railway's letter No.Sr.AFA(PC)/6thPC/Clarification/34 dated 17.10.2008.

महाप्रबंधक/मुख्य प्रशासनिक अधिकारी, सभी भारतीय रेलें एवं उत्पादन इकाइयां, इत्यादि (डाक सूची I और 11 के अनुसार)

विषय::- अतिरिक्त भत्ते को सेवानिवृत्ति लाभों की गणना करने के उद्देश्य से शामिल करना - इस बारे में स्पष्टीकरण । ने ने ने ने ok एक क्षेत्रीय रेलवे ने लोको पायलट (मेल), लोको पायलट (पैसेंजर) तथा मेल/ एक्सप्रेस गार्ड को देय अतिरिक्त भत्ते को उनके सेवानिवृत्ति लाभों की गणना करने के उद्देश्य से शामिल करने के बारे में स्पष्टीकरण मांगा है ।

2. .... मामले की बोर्ड द्वारा गहराई से जांच की गई है तथा यह विनिश्चय किया गया है कि इस मंत्रालय के दिनांक 11.9.2008 के पत्रांक पीसी-५1/2008/आर.एस.आर.पी./1 के तहत लोको पायलट (मेल), लोको पापलट (पैसेंजर) तथा मेल/ एक्सप्रेस गार्ड को देय अतिरिक्त भत्ते को उनके सेवानिवृत्ति लाभों की गणना करने के उद्देश्य से शामिल नहीं किया जाएगा ।
