Sub :- Presentation of Gold plated Medals to retiring railway servants.

*** It has been decided with the approval of the President that henceforth all Railway servants who seek voluntary retirement or superannuate in normal course shall be presented with Gold plated silver Medal (weighing around 20 grams).

The design of the Medal will be : Indian Railways Logo on one side and Name/Logo of the concerned Railway/PU, etc. on the other side. All concerned may take necessary action in this regard.

The expenditure on this account is chargeable to K-687 Sundries (Unclassified misc. expenses).

This issues with the concurrence of Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways.
