Reservation for candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes (OBCs) under Apprenticeship Training Scheme. In supersession of Board’s letter No. E(MPP)95/6/8 dated 14.6.95, it has been decided by the Ministry of Railways to extend 27% reservation for candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes under the Apprentices Training Scheme with the stipulation that seats remaining unfilled by OBC candidates may be filled by unreserved category. The existing quota for candidates belonging to SC/ST communities will remain the same.
