Recruitment of sportspersons against sports quota – Relaxation of upper age limit. The question of relaxing the upper age limit for recruitment of Bridge players against sports quota has been examined. Railway Board have decided that keeping in view the merit of each individual case, the upper age limit may be relaxed by the General Manager / Head of Unit subject to the maximum age limit of 40 years to recruit Bridge players, under the talent Scouting Scheme.
