ACP Scheme for Railway Servants – Clarification regarding. Reference: PC-V/2002/R-IV/3(BRSH) dt. 1.11.2002 ACP Scheme for Railway Servants – Clarification regarding. Pursuant to the V CPC’s recommendations, the entry grade of Physicist on the Railways was revised to Rs. 6500-10500 vide Board’s letter No. PC-V/97/I/RSRP/1 dated 16.10.97. The issue of according adequate promotional avenue to the category of Physicist was under consideration of this Ministry for quite some time. In the background of ACP Scheme having been adopted on the Railways, the Ministry of Railways have now decided that the higher grades for the Physicist have to be found through ACP Scheme. While the first financial upgradation of Physicist will be to the grade of Rs. 7500-12000, for second ACP the grade of Rs. 10,000-15,200 shall be available for the Physicists, in accordance with specific recommendations of V CPC. As such, the Physicist will be eligible for career progression in the following manner subject to all other terms and conditions laid down in Railway Board’s letter No. PC-V/99/I/1/1 dated 1.10.99:- Desig-nation IV CPC Scale (Rs.)
